1. Who we are
Stowe Labs is a sole proprietorship operated by David Stowe in the United States. References to “we,” “us,” and “Stowe Labs” mean the same thing.
2. What we sell
Digital products: downloadable files that you can use immediately after purchase. Most are templates, planners, prompt packs, or design assets. Some listings on the site are affiliate links to third-party products — clearly marked, and the seller’s terms apply to those, not ours.
3. Your license
When you buy a Stowe Labs digital product, you get a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to:
- Use the product for personal projects.
- Use it for commercial work, including client deliverables and your own products.
- Modify it for your own use.
You may not:
- Resell or redistribute the original file (or a near-identical copy) as your own product.
- Include the file as part of a competing template or asset shop.
- Share the file publicly (for free or for sale) in a way that lets others bypass purchase.
Each product page may include additional license details specific to that item; if so, those override anything generic here.
4. Refunds
See our Shipping & Returns page. Short version: digital products are not generally refundable once delivered, with three exceptions (broken files, materially misleading description, accidental double-purchase within 24 hours).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site to do anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape content at industrial scale, or attack the infrastructure.
- Misrepresent yourself when contacting us or making a purchase.
6. Intellectual property
All content on stowelabs.dev — text, images, code, product files — is owned by Stowe Labs or our licensors, except where attribution is given. Your purchase license (Section 3) is the right to use the product, not the right to ownership of it.
7. Disclaimers
We make our products useful and accurate. We don’t, however, promise that any product will produce a specific business outcome (sales, ranking, traffic, etc.). Many factors are outside our control.
The site and products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising from a Stowe Labs product is limited to the amount you paid for that specific product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Third-party platforms
Products sold through Gumroad, Etsy, or other marketplaces are also subject to that platform’s terms. If our terms conflict with theirs for a transaction handled there, theirs control for the transaction itself; ours apply to your use of the underlying product file.
10. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links — we earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate items are marked as such on their listing pages.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
12. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, post a brief notice. Your continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
